I don't follow your logic. In the last 4 billion years the Earth has not warmed to the point that the oceans evaporate or cooled until they freeze. Weather is really amazingly stable when you consider all the events that have transpired during that period. You simply believe the changes now are a cause of Global Warming I am obviously not clear on the subject. The changes are an effect of Global Warming, not a cause. The cause is the differential transparency of the atmosphere to different wavelengths of light combined with the changes in light wavelength when it strikes the Earth. It is similar to the warming experienced in an auto (or SUV in your case) which is parked in the sun with it's windows closed. it's akin to a religious faith. Science is falsifiable, that is to say each statement can be proved false. If global warming is proved false the scientists will abandon it faster than cold fusion. It hasn't been yet and the evidence continues to mount up. TP
