American, not Jewish. Have read a bunch of TM's posts and have developed a dislike for him. I perceive a lot of bitterness in him. And my distaste for that comes across pretty clear, I guess. I didn't post to him about Zionism but about our involvement in Afghanistan. Guess the shifting topic strategy works.

PB, I second Brumar on the subject of Thomas. We have both developed a distaste for him. I assure you that no Ministry of Propaganda could hold more inflexibly to his basic principles, which are 1. If Chomsky says it, it must be true 2. It's all the fault of the US 3. Whatever is not the fault of the US, is the fault of the Zionists When he is caught in a falsehood, he will always revert to pasting reams of propaganda from ElectronicIntifada and saying "see, Zionists lie". He is not interested in honest debate.
