Report: PA tried to bribe terrorists to bluff U.S.
Israel Radio reported that a senior PA security official tried to convince Tanzim operatives in Nablus to surrender to PA security and enter jail for a short time in return for the payment of $3,000. The offer was intended to bluff U.S. and European observers that the PA was taking action against terrorism.
