Ahhh, but chipsets use larger feature sizes, so Intel gets to recycle old FAB equipment, and those Strong Arm processors are tiny, using up very little FAB capacity.

Poor AMD has to sell off their old stuff, since they leave the production of chipsets, etc. to others.

Unless Intel is run by morons, they didn't buy new .25 equipment to FAB chipsets after they shifted their CPU production to .18/.13

OTOH, they did "go down with the ship" as far as Rambus was concerned, so maybe you're right.
