XOMA said today at the h & Q conference that it hods 6 blocking patents in the phage display area. That it is in discussion with "all" the phage companies and that they have admitted the patents are blocking patents. Xoma implied it is trying to work out terms that that allow the phage companies to continue to grow and prosper. (my words, will have to listen again for Castello's exact words). He said we can therefore expect to hear quite a bit from this area this year. BTW the Dyax presentation was really well done.
