i have just set recovery console as a boot option. it's there when i boot up. i suppose the thing to do is run fixboot on drive c. d is the drive that will not boot up but i should run the fixboot on c because that is the drive that controls the boot process? this is correct?

is it possible that there are some files that are corrupt on d that need repair?
