True, true. The average of 10 and -5 is positive. I didn't mean to imply that it was a sure thing- no such thing as a sure thing in da market. The first wk. was positive last year (even in a bear market)- but like the proverbial 50-50 coin flip, that doesn't change squat for this yr.

Odds are good that the first 5 trading days of the year will be positive, and that's how I generally try to place my bets, 'with' the odds.
