Did you celebrate?
New Year's eve was a busy day. We went to see my nephew for lunch. He lives about 50 miles south so it took several hours in all. About as quick as we got home we went to dinner with some friends. It started getting cold, about 35 F. I had bought a whole bunch of fireworks (Texas tradition) and took the kids, (picked up some more kids on the way) to the high school parking lot where we and about 50 other groups set off arsenals that would remind Osama of Tora-Bora. (I really like the tube fed artillary shells which just started showing up in the fireworks stands in the last couple years). It was quite a show at midnite. Then I reversed the trek dropping kids at houses until I returned to where the dinner was to get my wife and drink the last bits of champagne. I had no trouble going to sleep even though I could still hear explosions. Snow is forcast for today, that is pretty unusual.

Will you get yourself a dog?
Already have two. We have enough pets for now.
