Monica,

The AMD systems are great running SDRAM.

It's the P4 that sucks running SDRAM.

What is Intel's next stupid move going to be?

I can't wait............

RE:"Plane old SDRAM. Don't you AMD fanatics get apoplectic. when these PC makers use Plane Old SDRAM memory in Intel systems?
Where are you cries of righteous indignation now?"

Now we know you are technically challenged. <G>

OTOH, one of AMDs biggest faults is developing a PR rating that compares a XP to a P4 w/Rambus when 90% or better of the P4s are paired with SDRAM...

It will be interesting how fast Intel pairs the P4 w/DDR in light of the fact the public seems to be happy just to buy P4s paired with SDRAM w a 10-30% performance drop.

It's spelled "plain". In addition, Athlons are not as sensitive to memory bandwidth, but you probably know that. If you didn't, I cannot say I am surprised...
