Allright Permesaen Puss
Liston up
I'm goin to splain to ya, why everybodies hero, Farve will never be even in the same class as Mr. Warner
Two reasons
1 Watch Kurts eyes when his pocket is breaking down, lineman flying everywhere, never a worry just concentration on doing the job at hand. Its truely amazing how many completions he throws at the last possible second
2. Kurt throws a much more catchable ball than Farve accuracy don't count if they can't catch the ball because it is going a 100 mph

Clearly St. Louis is the most talented offensive team in the NFL. I personally believe they can be beat with aggressiveness on defense. I also question Mike Martz as coach. We shall see.......and when we do you will all be able to say Well at least we lost to a team with the best QB in NFL history.

Augustus,

Clearly the Rams can be beat, but that may prove to be a more difficult task than most would suppose. Consider the following:

The Rams not only lead the league in offense, they are also near the top in defense:

Defensive Leaders RUSH Pass
RNK NAME YDS YPG RUSH YPG PASS YPG PTS PTS/G
1 St. Louis 3950 282.1 1146 81.9 2804 200.3 260 18.6
2 Dallas 3730 286.9 1357 104.4 2373 182.5 323 24.8
3 Tampa Bay 3760 289.2 1436 110.5 2324 178.8 263 20.2
4 Green Bay 4056 289.7 1465 104.6 2591 185.1 241 17.2
5 NY Giants 4225 301.8 1359 97.1 2866 204.7 287 20.5
6 New Orleans 3995 307.3 1260 96.9 2735 210.4 371 28.5
7 Philadelphia 3697 308.1 1387 115.6 2310 192.5 195 16.2
8 San Francisco 4340 310.0 1379 98.5 2961 211.5 282 20.1
9 Washington 4659 310.6 1824 121.6 2835 189.0 286 19.1
10 Chicago 4425 316.1 1168 83.4 3257 232.6 190 13.6
11 Minnesota 4051 337.6 1530 127.5 2521 210.1 371 30.9
12 Detroit 4845 346.1 1663 118.8 3182 227.3 414 29.6
13 Arizona 4507 346.7 1679 129.2 2828 217.5 323 24.8
14 Atlanta 5052 360.9 1661 118.6 3391 242.2 346 24.7
15 Carolina 5645 376.3 2199 146.6 3446 229.7 372 24.8

The Rams have won against teams with a combined win total of 90 games. This is the best in the NFL with Chicago second at 74. Conversely they have lost to teams with a combined loss record of 14. This is tied for best in the NFL with Chicago.

On the other hand, the Rams either lead the league or are close to the top in turnovers. They rank in the upper third as the most penalized. Their third weak spot is special teams especially kickoffs (both returns and coverage)>

Based on the fact that they have frequently put themselves in a hole via turnover, penalty or field position, it makes their 13-2 record (with arguably one of the toughest schedules in the NFL) ever the more remarkable. Most teams win those accomplishments seldom have a winning record much less make the playoffs.

Based on what I have seen this year, the only team that can beat the Rams is the Rams. Truly anything can happen in the playoffs, but statistically this team will be very difficult to beat.

Wishing you the best,
Hammer
