Electric money is the norm in this far off corner of the euro, coins and bills are mostly used locally by the kids buying some goodies. Unluckily it also includes those afghanistan goodies, not just the home grown white vodka-wine which at least gives a good hangover, for most. nokia.com -Key features: GPRS, HSCSD, wallet the wallet is for the local beer, 3 seconds to get past the cashier, and both he/she and the Visa Foundation will beep me if I don't, or I loose it. (interesting to have the visa card tell its owner when some payment is done, great to have some instant double check??) Should work even in darkest africa, according to my local contact and investment hope. (I have warned him on his dollar bills)
