c.horn,

I just noticed that extra Temporary Internet File in Windows/Temp today. I don't think it used to be there, and I've been using IE6 for some time now. As for ContentIE6 I've never seen it, but I always see ContentIE5 as a sub folder in TIF. After I installed IE6 my default TIF moved to a sub folder in C:/Windows/Local Settings. I never changed it, but the TIF in C:/Windows is now always empty.

ContentIE5 was around when I had IE5 too. If you clear the temp files while the browser is open, it sometimes does not empty the files. There has always been a number of sub folders in ContentIE5 that only get trashed if you do it manually, and ContentIE5 can only be emptied from recycle after you restart. It's a mystery to me how these sub folders get created and used.
