Rumor had it they were short, but I have nothing to support that other than 2nd hand rumor, so I place a certain level of doubt in the idea.

I think they are selling all 4 of the bullion bars they actually owned, along with the 12 coins that weren't borrowed. -g-

Gold carry trade is dead and taking all the bullion dealers with it. Good riddance.
