The people planting those mines have to give a damn. Mostly they're not Western powers. And, apparently, mostly they don't. ...and it's a competitive market that no one will pay the stinking 5% differential. if you can deactivate them, so can I. I just need the code or whatever. Which means all I need is a spy or traitor. BS. There are launch codes and NCA release authority codes. Try to get your hands of those. It's not rocket science to design a system that's more than reasonably protected. It's been done. Vulnerabilities are usually exploitable in complex [or large] operating systems and software. This is a dinky little firmware coding/decoding system; easily verifiable and secure. Well, dn. Why didn't you tell them? D**n, they know it...they don't care. The solution was to make it all better by announcing the similarity periodically on a radio broadcast and telling everyone to be carefull. jttmab
