Lazarus Long, liberal. Possibly a centrists one, with tendencies towards the right. But still, a liberal.

But that is just my opinion.

Based on the dictionary.

Conservatism: a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change.

And I say atheism is disruptive and an agent of abrupt change.
