Bill, like millions of people, I use Yahoo all the time and it has zero revenue from me -- at first the "eyeballs" bit brought in the advertisers, but you have yet to provide anything to indicate that the internet is an effective advertising medium.

The Internet is all about electronic switching. Once users congregate on a platform then all that is needed is specific switching to take them anywhere. You saw that with yourself.


As I said, I was unable to read the article. Is your point Amazon won due to the sheer number of buyers/shoppers?
