UF--I've seen prints from MotoFoto, and they are just as good as 4 x 6 photographic prints. This may be one solution for printing, but I think the real savings come from making your own. Check out the HP or Epson Photo Stylus ink jet printers with high resolution and list prices around $200. The fact is, you can make your own prints BETTER than those from commercial processors because you can crop, adjust color, eliminate red eye, and sharpen the photos, using software such as Adobe PhotoShop.
