"Well in a couple of weeks AMD will have to come clean with the quarterly figures."

Yes they will. I initially had some hope that flash would recover enough for them to at least break even, but it doesn't appear to be. Flash has seen some recovery in general, but it hasn't been a lot.

Comb jellies are a type of jellyfish. Specifically, they are Phylum Ctenophora. They often have rows of cilia (called "combs") that run the length of their bodies. They can be pretty small, on the order of a centimeter or so, but some variants, like Venus' Girdle, can be over 0.5 meters in length.

My degree is in Marine Science. Cnidarians were one of my areas of interest. Got to use my degree for something other than keeping a salt water tank...

"I guess you AMD holders have your fingers crossed that Jerry doesn’t spring any last minute surprises again. Hey, Just like today I remember how jubilant you guys were June 30 last year."

The only good thing about that negative surprise was that AMD overcompensated for the negative surprise by trading down to under $10...The impending positive q4 surprise may well see AMD recapture much of the lost ground...The $20 to $30 range would seem readily attainable but perhaps we'll have to wait for positive confirmation by actual results to break into the $20's...

p.s. The outstanding XP consumer response does assure a positive surprise, the extent of which will become abundantly clear before long, and one, that will undoubtedly easily surpass current analyst expectations of $0.20 per share loss!!!

Yep I remember.....Niceguy was practically wetting himself like he is now and berating Paul about his 75 million prediction in post after post. And then Jerry dropped his yearly shareholder bomb that was practically right on Paul's predicted number. And the stock nosedives below 8 which I had predicted earlier and Niceguy berated me about as well. At this time I am hoping that the predictions of the true believers become at least partially true as I have held AMD for 3 years now and have done the round trip and am ready to unload this dog. Niceguy says 30 in April (what else is new) if this thing can somehow hit 22 sometime this year....I'm out!!!!!
