In the 1st 13mo fab 30 shipped 10 mil dies with 60% utilization by the end of the period. Let's assume that the average utilization was 30% = 60%/2.
10,000,000d/5,000wpw/.3/58w=115 dies/wafer
It is clear that at the very early stages amd was getting over 100 d/w. It is reasonable to assume that amd's yield improved over the last 6 months substantially.

Given the intel's capacity and often shortages it is very reasonable to assume that amd's yields are not only better than intel's but superior to intel's.

Elmer, mister defect density, considering your poor understanding of basic math and that intel imploys you it is not surprising at all that Intel's yields are so bad.
