T, I am not sure about that one. Our local Albertson's supermarkets have Starbuck's and they never seem to have many customers. IMHO, Starbuck's is a Yuppie store and these markets are located in blue collar areas, and never the twain shall meet. So, methinks it depends on the type of place they go into. A fast food joint, where a guy can expect to buy the family a meal for under $10, is not a good place for $4 coffee. A slightly upscale, mid-market, chi chi fluff sort of place where the customer goes for "ambience at a reasonable price" (I think that ambience stuff tastes crappy, even with ketchup on it <g>) might do very well. And a super classy place might be beyond co-branding.
