I believe the terrorist North actually mentioned in his testimony was Abu Nidal and not bin Laden.

He did not say Bin Laden. This is a hoax that has been circulating. He actually mentioned a different terrorist whose name escapes me at the moment. Libian I believe.

I think Gore also objected to Ollie North dipping into the public treasury to buy his security system. What ever happened to the rest of the money North got for selling weapons to Iran?

LOL! During North's Iran-Contra activities in the early to mid eighties, Osama bin Laden was a hero of the Reagan Administration, fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan with fervent CIA support.
