FYI regarding further discussion of the prospects of the Euro.. The fact that some criminal gangs are offering $2,300 loans interest free, so long as they are paid back in Euros within the next 3 years.

But again, I believe the last thing European corporations want is a stronger Euro, and weaker dollar. There might be some benefits with regard to attracting capital away from the US, but it will decrease their competitiveness with US companies and make US products less expensive there. And so long as the majority of our components and parts come from Asia (where currency devaluation is inevitable), we'll be able to achieve greater profitability than European corporations who are no longer able to hide behind a weak Euro.

But should the Euro fail due to major political distress amongst member states and rebellion against ECB monetary policy (the ECB will now have teeth as the primary issuer of European currency), watch out below.
