who knows what will happen. That's the beauty of the market i suppose.

Regards biotech, weakness could be just low volume related .. also biotechs go up & down by 2 to 5 % every day for no reason...one issue may be the imclone rejection...there seems to be higher incidence of FDA rejecting the drug approval applications.....

One thing about the pharma sector, there is still lots of EXTREMELY well funded large pharmas who are capable of buying out many of the emerging biotechs to replenish their pipleline. Unlike the telco sector where the incumbents (PTT's) who used to have lots of cash are now up to their ying-yang with debt due to IP buildout and 3G bet (that was the ultimate stupidity in terms of how much these PTT's shelled out for the 3G spectrum).
