We have had this oil problem for so long that many people have been working to medicate it. I feel we will be seeing the fruits of their labor in the very near future, like by the end of the decade. We should be moving toward the use of alternatives to the internal combustion engine by then. The impact of the above real and perceived, by the oil producers, will be caused them to want to preserve market share, which will hold down the cost.
