It sure is a fine idea. I think in the next century, one will have to become a world citizen.I have always thought the concept of a Renaissance man to be a goal worth pursuing as an ideal, in the sense that one is exposed to many areas of personnel development , instead of just a few. We as a society seem to be lack a curiosity that I feel makes us all more complete beings. My niece and nephew have been to Europe twice on student/parent tours, and will go again this year. Although I think Disney World might be more to their liking (they've done that, too), they are certainly better youths for the experience.Thier minds have been exposed to so many different cultures, and the curiosity has been encouraged.Sadly, not all youths can have this opportunity, but the more that can, the better.
