no question crap sells.... but it ain't gonna sell enough if the bears have their way with the econo mee... margin drop and sudden death on fixed costs... fool service regardless is going for a drive to the pier

Actually I like both the olive garden and red lobster. In partucular Red Lobster. The waiters and waitresses at RL seem to be having a ball. Laughing joking etc with me every time about something. I like the popcorn shrimp and the cape coral seafood salad. Nothing wrong with their baked potatoes or rice either. Grilled salmon tastes as good as any I have had anywhere else, usually at more cost. I have a feeling some people are snobs that just do not like any chain, regardless of how good the food is. I like food, prepared simply, without lots of fancy sauces and could care less about making it look pretty with parsley garnish or whatever. I would suspect the vast population just wants a reasonable meal at a decent price. Throw in a good time where at the servers are having a good time and the whole thing works out nice. Now, in spite of the unlimited salad bowl at OG that I like (which I also thinks tases great), the servers there seem to be "snooty". I go to RL far more often as a result. Finally I find it odd the complete difference in server attitudes since these restuarants are owned by the same company and the two I go to are sitting side by side. comments? M
