BTW, Albert, where else can we find references to AMD's supposed market share of 27%? I only found one DigiTimes article, entitled "AMD processor shipments to grow by 40% in 2001." But even the title of that article is suspect, given that 26.4M in 2000 to 30M in 2001 does not represent a 40% increase.

By the way, remember this article? ebnews.com

Albert,

re: in my experience the actual stock value has very little to do with stock price.

They are both the same. Did you ever sell a stock for it's "stock value" rather than it's "stock price"?

Mad Albert - Re:"in my experience the actual stock value has very little to do with stock price."

Is that why Enron is trading at $0.63 instead of $90?

I thought that profits had something to with stock price.

AMD: losses for 5 out of 6 years and going for 6 out of 7.
