I don't think you guys get it. Lot of companies in a lot of industries compete against one another and are able to thrive.

There are very few monopolies. DOJ frown on practises that create monopolies. What is most important for Intel, and AMD as well, is the economy. It is very easy to remember. Repeat after me, "it is the economy, stupid".

Perhaps it is the same thing that made them go (in a Droids mind) from "useless" to "most descriptive" once AMD got an edge? I'm guessing that the opinion of these same benchmarks will go back to "useless" in those same minds, in about 5 days.
