BWAC, I try that sort of thing all the time, but it seldom works out as I planned. I often sell calls for stocks hovering at, or slightly under, a strike price, and try to get 7-10%, depending upon the time. Favorites have been NTAP, JNPR and BEAS. The market does strange things though, making me feel foolish either way. Generally, holding ground will work out best, but it's difficult to manage in the heat of battle (g).
