I dunno about anyone else, but when I start looking at seed catalogues, first I think about the plants, but pretty soon, I'm already imagining them grown and with me eating them... and next, I start getting hungry.

That's wonderful. And not a bit uncommon I would guess. I oft times do the same thing.

The Richters herbs sounds really interesting. Do you have a link or a tele number I can order a catalog? To date, I have gotten my Johnny's of Maine(vegies), Mussler's, Miller's, and Henry Fields. Also I get one from a place in NH called The Cook's Corner. They specialize in hard to find herbs and vegies from euproe, though I have never ordered from them. And there is another one from Ca. I get that specializes in heirloom seeds. They are a bit price, but I generally save the seeds from the harvest and use them year after year.

BTW, I never did get my garlic in this fall, DOH!

The belt on my tractor broke as I was tilling under the leaves from the fall and well, I never got around to replacing it in time. I'm kind of disappointed since last years garlic crop was most bountiful(we still have about 5# in left). But I have some friends that sell at a farmers market and I can always trade them chestnuts for garlic.

Well, I'm off to do some clay works. Hope you have a nice day. It's already about 30° and sunny here. I may even try to get out in the woods today and do some hiking with my oldest daughter. This weekend should be fairly sedated compared to the hectic schedule of going here and there, packing and unpacking kids and all from the holiday season.
