On economic policy I agree that low taxes are best, but proper regulation is needed to stop corporate abuse, and efficient business growth is good. I also believe that fiscal management resulting in balanced budgets is needed. On environment you sound like pristine Annapolis has always been your abode. If you knew what happened in Anniston Al, or Love Canal, or the rivers in the rust belt, you would change your view on environmental issues. I also think the defense budget is bloated by 33% with useless fat. On foreign policy we should be the leaders of the international world and act as you say like a great power. Don't know what "Le Monde" means.

I hate the total partisanship shown here, it makes me wonder whether the world is progressing or regressing, and as you say it is not all one sided, but it seems the conservatives do best at it.........
