Hi William. I was wondering more about what kind of problems might be created by moving this number of people back to their own countries. Someone always has to be on the bottom of the wage scale its just the way it is. And I would think that if someone leaves their own country for a job in another country there must be some advantage in doing this or it would not be done. Maybe even at lower than minimum wage it is still better than their own country otherwise why leave? Guess I really don't know why.

Lorne

It's a vicious circle. By allowing the illegals to stay, you enable predatory people to take advantage of their fears of being deported back to their own countries or arrested, and so they hire them at slave wages.

By making laws that carry severe and I mean severe penalties for being here illegally, and severe and I do mean severe for hiring people that are illegals, you actually do everyone a favor.

What would happen is that the laws of economics would then take over, and these low paying menial jobs would have shortages. What happens when there's a shortage is that the wages rise until the vacancies are filled. That's called equilibrium.

When people find that these jobs are no longer low paying, then they would lose the stigma of being menial, and the market place would be doing its job.

Allowing illegals to stay is bad for everyone.

They need to be rounded up, put in jail for a year or two, and then sent home with a warning that if they're caught back here again and they are illegal again they will be executed.

There is no reason why we should allow illegals in this country at all. Not even one. There is a method of gaining entry and it should be followed.

<<"the explotation of the foreign workers is a shame">> Think of the US,, care takers, gardeners,, mostly from Mexico-- nothing will stop it! <<" and I think the policy of expecting hi tech workers to take
below minimum wage jobs is stupid.">> Few countries take care of those not working like we do--- work or starve in many places,,
