Bush has, by acclamation, had the most successful first year since Reagan and enters his second year in better shape than any prez in memory. Clinton was a failure at the same point and his regime was in total disarray.

Even before 911, Bush was a success, especially in comparison with Clinton. I believe Business Week had a article showing that.

Besides that, events have totally deflated Clinton and his minions cannot help him rebuild the facade. To the American people, Clinton is that disgrace, forgotten but not gone.
