Matt, I am using XP Home, having previously used Win95 on my old puter. I don't mess with much stuff, and am finding XP to be a breeze to use, very smooth, and helpful. not obtrusive. I am not familiar with 98, 2K or any of the other, but I can only endorse the XP product. Larry

Make sure your laptop exceeds the minimum requirements for XP. You can install it with the minimums but you won't be happy with the results. I wouldn't think of using it on a machine without at least a 600-800 processor and 256 ram.
