I am doing mine on a laptop that is running Win2kPro.

I normally do a clean install (wiping entire drive), but I'm going to probably try the 'Upgrade' option this time, since the core files of Win2k are most likely similar to WinXPPro core files..

That is one thing I'd never do. Never ever trust you security to Microsoft. At the very least use ZoneAlarm.

I can't find the info I read at the moment but I have read that the XP firewall is easily defeated. I wouldn't rely on just it.
