Re: Because Jerry pocketed the difference?

I F'd up bad on that one, those weren't the 9 month numbers, the table was a quarterly cost, so the cost difference should be tripled, eg. Intel's R&D costs are $15 to $30 higher, per chip, than AMD's.

Busy day, not enough sleep, sorry all.

I've done an analysis of totals before (including depreciation, goodwill, etc.) and Intel's load is about $60 per chip higher than AMDs - and the difference is growing as the two company's markets shares converge.

I'm going to catch up on some sleep now, but AMDroid or Intellabee, the huge difference in those numbers is significant and needs to be considered.

If (I know, I know, it's a big if) AMD can get its market share up to 30% it will be a huge advantage for AMD, and it will be very bad news for Intel.

Because Jerry pocketed the difference?

Now do you think that comment is relevant? Does it make a difference? Do you ever contribute anything substantive? I don't think soooooo!!

But don't worry, I don't think you should be banned but I do think there should be a cap on your posts..........say, maybe, two a year. LOL!
