Iso, -- "quality mgt" ie... government has made it increasingly difficult for that one tenth of the population to stay put. Canadian born Harvard grads don't return after graduation...

...as for myself ... I like the cold ... I can't put a price on that, it's invaluable to me.

Capital always flows in the direction of "entreprenurial spirit" and opportunity

True. However, it is at least equally true that entreprenurial spirit flows in the direction of capital and opportunity. In Canada's case, the net flow is outbound, not inbound. There are very few Americans north of the border. There are several hundred thousand Canadian professionals professionals working south of the border.

That is a huge number for a country of 30M people.
