You sound like the local yokels who are tying to pass the Confederate battle flag off as some kind of ancestor worship. Funny they reject the idea of using the actual Confederate flag or a gey hat or any other symbol. Yes, you could say that If you wanted a semantic hiding place for your prejustices.

If you mean white men's rights, then I can agree with you. Women and non-caucasians were excluded from the "human rights" until this century.
