This was discussed a few pages back. The answer is you should consider installing ad blocking software. There are several worthwhile packages on the market. The one I use and recommend is adsubtract.com

LOL...are you talking about that damn thing that wiggles just enough to distract you? It drives me crazy! Fortunately I just visit my homepage briefly so it only bothers me for a minute. Go to a freeware or shareware download site and look for an ad blocker.

If you are referring to the pulsating X10 ad I did a page refresh and it did not reload.

Also I use this link to remove X10 ads for 30 days at a crack.

It's down on the lower left on this page.
