That's right. He also said that it was an Intel motherboard, and since those only use Intel chipsets, we can assume it was an i845B. Not that i845B perform poorly, but there definitely seems to be faster chipsets available. If they are doing a direct CPU comparison, might it not be more exact to use a VIA based motherboard during testing, such as the P4X266A? RDRAM would also be a good thing to test with, but I'll leave that for the best of breed configurations that the cheerleader sites use for their reviews.
