I have no particular reason to dispute eyewitness accounts in this case but 1 - In general eyewitness accounts are overrated and often conflict, and 2 - you are not talking about a statement of an eyewitness in regards to a specific observed fact but rather a judgement by the eyewitness. To give another example of this I might dispute something that a WTC survivor and eyewitness said about the cause of the terrorist attack. As for Brzezinski I have no particular beef with him but I don't see any reason to change my viewpoint to be the same as his. Tim
