Yeah Russ, I'm sitting here trying to think of something profound to say or at least something funny about the performance of the oilpatch in this very new year.

I just finished reading an analyst report on a stock I've been quietly collecting these past few weeks and as advertised they've cut-back on rig building and have had to endure warm weather and even a rig booking cancellation.

I've written about this company before since it is connected with my favorite patch play -- Tesco.

Drillers Technology (DLR.TO) I wrote about it here;

...and here;
Message 16677066

They've essentially cut and/or push-back their expected expansion of their rig fleet to the winter of 2003 -- their rigs by-the-way are Tesco units.

I may have too many eggs in one basket...or not enuff if I were to rely on take-over rumours...

See? I knew I could say something funny. :)

Regards
Frank P.
