Wrong!

I said Mediterranean and Jordan...besides, if I have your opinion, should I not ask another what their opinion is?

If the Flag's stripes represent the Tallit, where are the fringe?

The question remains open....your opinion is not the last opinion....don't make stories.

Actually, one Flag proposal was instead of the Shield of David, a map of Palestine including Transjordan (what was the "Flag" of one of the extreme groups prior to the declaration of independence), the majority of the Pre State Jewish leadership did not accept that concept, and it was buried together with other "hegemony" dreams that some extreme sects were proposing. The difference between these sects and Hammas and Hisbala, is that they have not abandoned their own "hegemony dreams", and unlike in Israel where once a democratic state was instituted, democratic rule was accepted by all, they want their cake (a small "temporary state" followed with the "hegemony principle"). In Israel, a government supported by the majority of the parliament, truly representative of the people set policies and is accountable to the people. Until Arafat persuades his own fringe movements to abandon that impossible dream of "No Jewish State" at all, he'll have no peace and no state. That is called "Realpolitik".
