ild -- I wasn't trying to be argumentative either. I just really do believe the bear case for equities.

NAZ3000 may be possible, but I think it would imply raging price inflation in the midst of declining biz activity shortly thereafter ... I certainly think it is remote enough, that I would make some bets right here against it <ng> just where I'm coming from.

I think the Fed is concerned with influencing economic activity overall -- stock market isn't their primary concern -- in fact might be what would make them think twice before cutting again.
