am I missing anything The chart you had on surface temperatures, England and World, adjusted, shows that we were coming out of a "little ice age" at the turn of the century, and surface temperatures have risen since then. This type of chart is sometimes used to try to prove "global warming", but it doesn't. In the meantime, if you have been getting too cold there in Britain, try central heating. If getting too warm, try to get the pub to put out more ice cubes for your drinks. (You know, add 2 more cubes to the 2 they put out for everyone for the evening).
