Kastel -- the deal with me when it came to selling half my position in Corner Bay was to recoup my original investment. Nothing more, nothing less...

Note the analyst post on BAY -- that's probably the biggest reason for the massive volume we've seen these last couple of days. This guys normally post this info to unload their positions. I see another "tuff" day for BAY... you may get a re-entree point here shortly.

Regards
Frank P.

OT: I've watched NT and BBDb from the sidelines, but jumped into STEa a couple months ago. (Even though I've never been impressed with the Stelco annual reports -- it seems the management is always whining about imports and competition rather than energetically telling investors how they intend to move the ship forward.) As a long term play, I may still take a small position in NT and BBDb. But I'm looking for some direction on which Canadian guys to follow on SI and if you know any good forums here or elsewhere, I'd appreciate some info. A private message would be great to avoid more OT on this board.

I've recently started following a few of you Canadian guys, looking for a few good picks. (I had been following FAX for quite a while and hadn't realized before seeing your earlier post that I could get FAP.TO on the Canadian side.) My wife and I still have our RRSPs trapped in Canada. Can somebody advise me whether foreign content increased beyond 30% as of Jan 1, 2002?

This isn't "Strictly Drilling", but I rode Mosaid (MSD.TO ) from 8.25 to 60+ then down to 6. It is starting to move again. If chips start to recover, this company will do well. I think it has been unduly punished because in addition to the chip business, they have recently began to capitalize on their intellectual property rights. In the past two years, MSD started collecting royalties from Fujitsu, NEC, and Toshiba. They are now going after the gorilla, Samsung. Royalty talks broke down a few months ago, and they immediately initiated litigation for patent infringement. Today they got a ruling that will move it forward. If they win that lawsuit for patent infringement and the chip sector continues to recover, Mosaid will do well. Even without a win on the Samsung lawsuit, they'll move well with the chip sector. I'm betting the Samsung case will add significant gravy when it finally plays out.
