Say you have to run the wire across the parking lot...His speed drops to 400K-500K? and your still charging him 50-70 bucks to light up a bunch of computers....Say you run it another 200 feet and what is his speed.... I don't know dude, You got line of sight La La Land....Have the guy administrate the network and have every Tom Dick and Harold hammer your network with their Bad Trans Viruses and their Instant messenger Bugs....I think AOL is toast long term. BroadBand would literally Kill AOL right now....if it was suddenly available to 50 million internet users.
