Likely true on the first part. But it still does not make up for the inefficiency of a dividend compared with the greater efficiency of a capital gain On the second, the point of theories on asymetic information is that the advertisment must be inefficient or it does not convey the feeling the company has income enough to spend this way. It's more like a peacock's feathers than a hawks. TP

mm - What is the market telling usd about this stock? Three great days and this stock just keeps getting sold, why? What in earth is wrong weith it that in the middle of a huge rally the professionals just can´t wait to get out. Just imagine where it would have been if the market would have tanked the last few days!!!!! Best, L
