I'll bet that people have a new-found respect for flight attendants now. They have become the last line of defense against these wackos. Not the ditzy airheads that they are portrayed as.

I don't think I expressed that the way I'd have liked to...

Of course it was a mistake on the part of the airline to let Reid on the plane, but the fact that although about 80 zillion fatwas have been issued since 9/11, yet the best they've been able to do in three months is some bumbling guy who can't even light his own shoes? I think that says a lot. We all expected more than that, and nothing ever came to pass. It's been nearly four months. These guys are on the run.
