ISM non-mfg report napm.org interesting that business activity for the month is reported as higher in the diffusion index yet the survey shows members reporting lower activity than November. looks like another survey with smoothing or lagging properties as with the employment survey. unemployment only lags the economy since the dopes adjust and smooth the data so that it does.
